Creating a Stronger Community – A Case for College
Did you know that over the course of a lifetime a bachelor’s degree recipient will earn almost a million dollars more than an individual without postsecondary education? It is also projected that by 2020, 65% of Texas jobs will require some college or training. Yet in Bexar County, only 35% of high school graduates scored as college-ready on their entrance exams. Restore Education’s college readiness program bridges this gap by putting college preparation in reach for students across Bexar County. With our help, students are less likely to end up in remedial courses and more likely to persist in college.
