Keyla is the first woman in her family to attend college. She completed her CNA certification at Restore Education while attending Alamo Colleges. Keyla was recently accepted to UTHealth San Antonio School of Nursing for the fall 2021 semester. She has always wanted to become a nurse and looks forward to a challenging and rewarding career path.
Keyla has this to say about completing the Certified Nurse’s Assistant program: “Passing my CNA certification exam means that I would be able to be a part of [a] healthcare team and be able to give back to my community. I plan to use my CNA certification to work while going to nursing school. This will not only help me be more prepared for when I graduate and start working as an RN, but it will also let me explore different types of specialities the nursing field offers.”
We can’t wait to see the wonderful things Keyla achieves in her chosen career field!
