Yesterday, Restore Education was the beneficiary of an amazing digital inclusion event held at City Hall, and it was all thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends at AT&T!

As part of their commitment to support fiber internet and IT access across San Antonio, sixty five (65) brand new laptops were donated at no cost to our students–devices critical for digital empowerment and educational advancement in the 21st century.

Students were able to meet and mingle with Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones, City Manager Erik Walsh, as well as AT&T Texas leadership. They each received a free laptop to help further their studies, aid with job hunting, in addition to personal use activities, such as healthcare, banking and other digital needs.

Our very own Kelli Rhodes, President and CEO of Restore Education, was also one of the keynote speakers. It was a great turnout of both students and RE staff alike, and emblematic of our continued efforts to bridge the digital divide in our community, together!
