The CPPDC was created to connect classrooms to careers, statewide, uniting seven (7) key stakeholders – AEL Providers, Workforce Boards, Employers, Post-secondary Institutions, Organized Labor, Workforce Advocacy Organizations, and Agency Partners – together as one system to advance evidence-based, career pathway models that empower learners, strengthen communities, and drive economic mobility.
Our very first Career Pathways Symposium was held June 4-5 as a catalyst for workforce transformation in Texas. Over 200 individuals from across the adult education and workforce system, postsecondary, employers, and community members gathered in San Antonio to share best practices, network, and support cross sector engagement.
Two dynamic days of relationship forging and professional development–and we’re just getting started! 🤝
