Make way for Mary K. – our Student of the Month for Digital Literacy!
Mary came to us via our Wood Window Restoration apprenticeship program and has been taking Business Communications and Digital Literacy classes at The Neighborhood Place. She enjoys much of the budgeting and spreadsheet lessons, as well as practicing her typing and research skills.
Recently, Mary learned how to create a resume using the free online toolkit that Google provides, and hopes that her newfound knowledge will help her build her organizational and financial management skills.
Mary is excited to have overcome recent challenges and is looking forward to rejoining the workforce and achieving her goal of independence.
