Beatriz G. is our Student of the Month for ESL!
When Beatriz first began attending ESL classes through Restore, she was hesitant to speak up for fear of doing so incorrectly. As a stay-at-home Mom with limited access to the Internet and various technology, understanding English in a classroom setting felt out of reach.
Now, after not having missed a single class, she has grown more confident, and is willing to role play and participate in group discussions. In addition, she found an “English partner” to practice more at home in her off hours.
Beatriz says she appreciates our nurturing learning environment, and that she is able to converse with her family in a way she never thought possible before!
