Say hello to Scotlynn D. – our Student of the Month for Workforce!

Scotlynn has a unique story, as she shares the following account in her own words:

“At 16 years old, I left home, and attending school was difficult. Instead, working and surviving day-by-day became my top priority. Recently, I was able to complete my GED, but I was left wondering what my next steps should be and how to take them? Thanks to the resources and support from Restore Education, I received everything I needed to continue my education and find a career path that interests me. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from respectful, understanding, and supportive teachers and administrators, who provide a straightforward, fast-tracked course into a career.”

According to Program Instructor Robert Vollay, Scotlynn has yet to miss a single day of class, and plans to ultimately pursue a career in healthcare to become a registered nurse.

Scotlynn’s relentless drive to keep pushing herself, until she achieves her dream, is the true motivation behind the work we do on a daily basis.

Cheers to you, Scotlynn!

“Scotlynn is a studious and determined young lady, whose ambition is to earn a career to better her life, and that of her family. She takes the initiative on assignments and is always very supportive of her classmates.”
